The
memorial can be found to the rear of the church in the churchyard of
St Mary's Church, Everton. The memorial takes the form of a Celtic cross,
with carved decoration in relief, the whole standing upon a square plinth,
where the inscription is in black lettering with the whole mounted on
a one step base. Close by is a row of graves to aircrew who died.
