The
memorial can be found within Holy Trinity Church, Blackdown, Dorset
and takes the form of a ramed rectangular tablet with black lettering.
It contains seven names for World War 1 and three for World War 2. A
new stone tablet was erected and dedicated in 2004 to replace a wooden
one destroyed by fire in 1961.

Gate, Broadwinsor, Beaminster, Dorset. In the 1901 census he is
a baorder, aged 13, a domestic stable boy, born Dorset, resident
with his employer at Duck Street, Broadwinsor, Beaminster, Dorset.
Buried in an isolated grave now unlocated. Commemorated on Thiepval
