ROCHDALE SOUTH AFRICAN (BOER) WAR MEMORIAL

The memorial takes the form of a rectangular bronze plaque, with the inscription in relief with a central cast wreath in relief, and a floral border with minature Gothic arches on the sides again in relief. The plaque is fixed to the Rochdale Town Hall, The Esplanade, Rochdale. There are 42 names listed with rank and service. Their names are sorted into alphabetical order here for ease of research and reading.
