The village
of Gillingham is a small village located just off the A146 in South
Norfolk, about 1 mile north of the market town of Beccles. The full
name of the parish is Gillingham All Saints and St Mary. The war memorial
is to be found on Church Road, Gillingham, South Norfolk and takes
the form of a wheel cross set on a tapering plinth and square base
with the dedication and names on three sides of the square base in
raised black lettering. There are 18 names listed for World War 1
and 2 names for World War 2.
