There are two memorials to be found on the outside wall of of St Botolphs Church, Tottenhill Norfolk. The first is a stone tablet inscribed with the names of the fallen from World War 1 (8 names sorted here into alphabetical order) and the second a stone plaque with the names of those who gave their lives in World War 2 (3 names).

BOON William

Private G/9108, 7th Battalion, The Queen's (Royal West Surrey Regiment). Died 2 March 1917. Aged 24. Son of William and Sarah Boon, of Tottenhill Row, King's Lynn. In the 1901 census he was aged 7, born Tottenhill, Norfolk, son of William and Sarah Boon, resident Tottenhill Row, Tottenhill, Downham, Norfolk. In the 1911 census he was aged 17, born Tottenhill, Norfolk, a Farm Labourer, son of William and Sarah Boon, resident Tottenhill Row, Kings Lynn, Tottenhill, Norfolk. Buried in QUEENS CEMETERY, BUCQUOY, Pas de Calais, France. Plot II. Row N. Grave 12.

BRITTON William

Private 40005, 6th Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment. Killed in action 25 September 1916. Aged 28. Born South Runcton, Norfolk, resident Tottenhill, Norfolk, enlisted Norwich. Son of George and Emma E. Britton, of White House, Tottenhill, King's Lynn. No nown grave. Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Pier and Face 2 C and 3 A.

CHAPMAN Edward

Gunner 166170, 140th Heavy Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Died 20 September 1917. Aged 30. Son of Mrs. Harriett Chapman, of Tottenhill, King's Lynn. Buried in ZUYDCOOTE MILITARY CEMETERY, Nord, France. Plot I. Row E. Grave 15.

LANGRIDGE Albert Henry

Private 41561, st Battalion, Essex Regiment. Died of wounds 11 March 1918. Aged 21. Born Brighton, resident Tottenhill, King's Lynn, enlisted King's Lynn. Son of James and Ellen Langridge, of 2, Meadow Cottages, Tottenhill, King''s Lynn, Norfolk. Buried in LIJSSENTHOEK MILITARY CEMETERY, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Plot XXVII. Row EE. Grave 11A. MASON William James

Private 28193, 1st Battalion, Hertfordshire Regiment. Killed in action 11 August 1918. Aged 30. Born Watlington, Norfolk, enlisted Tottenhill, Norfolk, enlisted Norwich. Son of Elizabeth Mason, of Tottenhill, King's Lynn, Norfolk, and the late William Mason. Buried in ST. AMAND BRITISH CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France. Plot V. Row B. Grave 10.

SHEARWOOD William

Private 29250, 2nd Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment. Killed in action 12 October 1916. Born and resident Tottenhill, Norfolk, enlisted King's Lynn. No known grave. Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Pier and Face 2 C.

WATKINS Bertie T

Private 6181, 53rd Company, Machine Gun Corps (Infantry) formerly 9651, Norfolk Regiment. Killed in action 11 July 1916. Born Shepherd's Bush, Middlesex, resident Wormegay, enlisted King's Lynn. Buried in MORLANCOURT BRITISH CEMETERY NO.1, Somme, France. Row B. Grave 7.

WATKINS James Arthur

Lance Sergeant 242498, 1st/5th Battalion (Territorial Force), Norfolk Regiment. Killed in action in Palestine 19 April 1917. Born Tottenhill, Norfolk, enlisted King's Lynn, Norfolk. Buried in GAZA WAR CEMETERY, Israel and Palestine (including Gaza). Plot XXIII. Row C. Grave 13.

Captured at the fall of Singapore 15 February 1942. Born and resident Norfolk. Son of Theodore and Eva Ruth Harrod, of Tottenhill, Norfolk; grandson of Ruth Sarah Barrett, of Tottenhill. Buried in KANCHANABURI WAR CEMETERY, Thailand. Plot 8. Row B. Grave 10.

HOLLOX George Alfred

Lance Sergeant, 6457757, 1st Battalion, Norfolk Regiment. Killed in action on D Day 6 June 1944. Aged 35. Son of James and Laura Hollox; husband of Lillias Merriman (nee Eynon) Hollox, of Neyland, Pembrokeshire, married July to September Quarter 1941 in Haverfordwest Registration District, Pembrokeshire. Buried in BAYEUX WAR CEMETERY, Calvados, France. Plot IX. Row C. Grave 2.

SECKER Clifford Reginald

Rifleman 14730010, 9th Battalion, Cameronians (Scottish Rifles). Killed in action 20 November 1944. Aged 19. Born and resident Norfolk. Son of Bertie Leonard and Gertrude Ethel Secker, of Tottenhill, Norfolk. Buried in MIERLO WAR CEMETERY, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands. Plot VI. Row D. Grave 13.
