HAYES Arthur Walton

Private, 6509, 4th Northamptonshire Regiment, transferred to Private, 240991, 436th Agricultural Co. Labour Corps. Died 24-11-18, aged 26. Son of Henry Walton Hayes, Bainton. Buried in Bainton Churchyard.

KNIPE Leonard Nichols

L/Corporal, 42927, 10th Essex Regiment. Killed in action 21-09-18, aged 19. Formerly 10729, Bedfordshire Regiment.Born Thurlby, enlisted Peterborough, resident Bainton. Son of Jesse and Eliza Knipe, Northgate, Pinchbeck. Buried in Unicorn Cemetery, Vend’huile, Grave I.B.08.

MUNNS Percy

Private, 10358, 1st Northamptonshire Regiment. Died of wounds 03-03-18, aged 19. Born Barnack, enlisted Peterborough. Brother of B. A. Munns, Bainton. Buried in Mendinghem Military Cemetery, Poperinghe, Grave IX.D.30.

SNART, MM Frank

Private, 235076, 4th Yorkshire Regiment. Died of wounds whilst prisoner of war 15-09-18, aged 37. Born Bainton, enlisted Peterborough, resident Stamford. Son of John and Sarah Snart, Ashton, Stamford. Awarded the Military Medal (MM). Buried in Niederzwehren Cemetery, Germany, Grave VIII.J.12.
