The Memorial is located in the gardens adjacent to the Old Town Hall in Temple Street, Llandrindod Wells. It is stone, four section, plinth topped by the bronze statue of a soldier, facing west, head bowed and leaning on his reversed rifle. The names of the fallen from WW1 are inscribed on the 3 other faces of the memorial of the top section. Those who fell in WW2 are inscribed on the section underneath. The original sculptor was Mr Benjamin Lloyd. The memorial was dedicated by Rev. Canaon Singers Davies RD, and unveiled by Lord Ormthwaite, GCVO, 1 July 1922. The site originally cost £700.

Llandrindod Wells. co. Radnor, 22 July, 1895 ; educ. Church of England Schools there ; was a Railway Guard on the Neath & Brecon Railway ; joined the Royal Naval Division in Sept. 1915 ; served with the Expeditionary Force in France and Flanders from 21 Nov. 1910, and was killed in action on the Ancre 4 Feb. 1917 ; unm.
