PARKER	Charles William Ian	Sergeant (Air Gunner), No 50 Bomber Squadron. (Hampden 1 X2908 VN), Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Operating from Lindholme and returning from a raid on Hamburg the aircraft crashed into houses in Dunhill Road, Poole, Lincs. There was one survivor but the other three crew members were killed, including Sgt Parker, who was brought home for burial 16 November 1940. Aged 19. Operating from Marham on a raid on Hamburg the aircraft ditched in the sea off the island of Rottum, Holland. All six members of the crew were drowned 3 August 1940. Pilot Officer Wilde was 31.
