ASHTON KEYNES WAR MEMORIAL

The Ashton Keynes war memorial can be found in the grounds of Holy Cross Church, Ashton Keynes and takes the form of an ancient hooded preaching cross that has been restored as a war memorial standing on a four-stepped, square, base. There are twenty one names for World War 1 and two for World War 2. Monies for the memorial were raised by public subscription and dedicated by the Bishop of Bristol 25th July 1917.
