[Memorial lists him as 2nd Battalion, SDGW lists him as Lieutenant] Captain, 3rd Battlion, Alexandra Princess Of Wales's Own (Yorkshire Regiment). Killed in action 26th September 1915. Age 28. Son of Sir Edward Clitherow Brooksbank, 1st Baronet, of Healaugh Manor, Tadcaster, and of Dame Katherine Graham Brooksbank. Brother of Hugh Geoffrey below. Commemorated on LOOS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. Panel 44 and 45.

[Memorial lists him as Lieutenant, CWGC lists him as Hugh Godfrey] Second Lieutenant, 2nd Battalion, Alexandra Princess Of Wales's Own (Yorkshire Regiment). Died of wounds 16th December 1914. Age 21. Son of Sir Edward Clitheroe Brooksbank, 1st Baronet, of Healaugh, Tadcaster, Yorks, and of Dame Katherine Graham Brooksbank. Brother of Stamp above. Buried at North of West end of Church in ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCHYARD, HEALAUGH, Yorkshire.

Lance Corporal 15080, 12th Battalion, Prince of Wale's Own (West Yorkshire Regiment). Killed in action 17th August 1916 in France & Flanders. Age 22. Born Healaugh, enlisted York. Son of Arthur Benson, of Barwick-in-Elmet, Leeds. Commemorated on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Pier and Face 2 A 2 C and 2 D.

Lance Corporal 23102, 1st/4th Battalion, King's Own (Yorkshire Light Infantry). Killed in action 21st October 1917 in France & Flanders. Age 21. Born Healaugh, enlisted York. Son of Mr. A. J. and Mrs. F. Blacker, of 2/4, Bishopthorpe Rd., York. Commemorated on TYNE COT MEMORIAL, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Panel 108 to 111.

Enlisted The Rock, New South Wales, Australia. Son of John and Kate Poole, of Healaugh, Tadcaster, Yorks. Buried in PORT SAID WAR MEMORIAL CEMETERY, Egypt. Grave F. 44.
