Boer War Events by Persons Name - Search

This database is built from the details found in various places. A major and significant part of this database has been supplied by Major Paul Naish (Retired) who still conducts tours and has information available see www.africanbyways.com. Other parts have been compiled from information found on war memorials and lists provied in various books. We are always looking for new content for this database and it is an on-going piece of work which is being regularly updated. Please note: Duplications do occur and the information may not be strictly correct as it has been integrated from different sources with a varying degree of accuracy from those sources but it is significantly the largest Boer War database currently available on-line for free. This data does include those who survived. Events recorded include woundings, death, prisoners of war and being there. If you do not find the person you are looking for there are two other databases on-line that you may like to try Soldiers of the Queen in the Second Anglo-Boer War 1899-1902 (free) or Register of the Second Anglo-Boer War 1899-1902 (pay per view).

There are 69,073 names on file - Last updated 8 March, 2017
