Son of John Francis and Elizabeth Wardle; husband of Ruth Wardle, of "Laverock," Berry Head Rd., Brixham, Devon. Born at Hartington, Derbyshire. Surveyor to the Wirksworth U.D.C. and Bolsover U.D.C. Buried south-east of the church in ALL SAINTS CHURCHYARD, RANGEMORE, Staffordshire.
