The memorial stands in the grounds of the parish church and takes the form of a column with a Celtic Cross on top, these rest on a plinth which stands on a three-stepped base.

No trace CWGC. Memorial states Private. A.S.H. Born 28th September 1885, died from effects of Malarial Fever contracted on active service 13th July 1921, aged 38 years. Commemorated AMCOTTS CHURCHYARD MEMORIAL, Lincs.

L/Corporal 9131. 42nd Coy, Machine Gun Corps, formerly 17896 Lincolnshire Regiment. Killed in action 22nd (23rd on memorial) August 1918, aged 29 years. Son of Sarah Jane Spencer of Digby Street, Scunthorpe, Lincs. Born Scunthorpe, enlisted Scunthorpe, Lincs. Commemorated QUEENS CEMETERY, Bucquoy. II.L.18.

WALKER

Alexander Mann

Rifleman C/12317. 21st Battalion, Kings Royal Rifle Corps. Killed in action 15th September 1916. Born Amcotts, enlisted Goole, Yorks and resident Amcotts, Lincs. Commemorated THIEPVAL MEMORIAL. Pier and Face 13A and 13B.

No trace CWGC. Memorial states Private 12675. 21st Battalion, Kings Royal Rifle Corps. Died from wounds received in France 23rd May 1921, aged 26 years. Headstone states son of Thomas John and Emma Walker of Amcotts, Lincs. Commemorated AMCOTTS CHURCHYARD MEMORIAL, Lincs.

No trace CWGC. Memorial states Rifleman. 21st Battalion, Kings Royal Rifle Corps. Died from wounds received in France 10th April 1927, aged 33 years. Commemorated AMCOTTS CHURCHYARD MEMORIAL, Lincs.
