The Newton (and Haceby) memorial is to be found in the Church of St Botolph. The World War 1 memorial is in the form of an alabaster plaque, a second plaque names one man for World War 2.

NEWTON	Herbert Clarence	Auber Ridge 9th May 1915 on memorial. Private 11868. 2nd Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Killed in action 9th May 1915, aged 18 years. Son of Matthew and Annie Newton of Crofton, Lincs. Born Folkingham, enlisted Grantham and resident Haceby, Lincs. Commemorated PLOESTTEERT MEMORIAL. Panel 3.
PORTER	Fred	Somme 15th July 1916 on memorial. Private 15344. 1st Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Killed in action 15th July 1916, aged 35 years. Son of Mrs Hannah Porter of 5 Bridge Street, New Somerby, Lincs. Husband of Eliza Jane Baldwin (formerly Porter) of 11 Purves Road, Kensal Rise, London. Born and enlisted Grantham, Lincs. Commemorated THIEPVAL MEMORIAL. Pier and Face 1C.
CREASEY	Ernest H	Somme 29th July 1916 on memorial. Private 4710. 4th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Killed in action 29th July 1916 on memorial, 20th July on SDGW and 29th February on CWGC. Son of George Edward and Charlotte A Creasey. Enlisted Lincoln and resident Newton, Lincs. Commemorated BERLES POSITION MILITARY CEMETERY. D.11.
SYKES	Tom	Somme 27th September 1916 on memorial. Private 21162. 9th Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment. Killed in action 25th September 1916 (27th on memorial). Born and enlisted Grantham, Lincs. Commemorated THIEPVAL MEMORIAL. Pier and Face 2A,2C,2D.
NAYLOR	John W	Loos 13th October 1916 on memorial. Private 27277. 1st Battalion, Royal Lancaster Regiment. Killed in action 23rd October 1916 (13th on memorial), aged 19 years. Son of William and Eliza A Naylor of Newton Grange, Folkingham, Lincs. Enlisted Sleaford and resident Quarrington, Lincs. Commemorated THIEPVAL MEMORIAL. Pier and Face 5D and 12B.
ROTSAERT	Omer	Steenstraete 10th February 1917 on memorial. Unable to trace CWGC/SDGW and no further information currently.
WATSON	Tom	Ypres 17th August 1917 on memorial. L/Corporal 11983. 11th Battalion, Hampshire Regiment, formerly 15084 Duke of Cornwalls Light Infantry. Killed in action 17th August 1917. Born Newton, Lincs, enlisted Birmingham and resident Hockley, Warwicks. Commemorated VLAMERTINGHE NEW MILITARY CEMETERY. VI.E.4.
LAIT	Frank	Vimy Ridge 26th October 1917 on memorial. Private 30184. 4/5th North Lancashire Regiment, formerly 242161 East Surrey Regiment. Died 26th October 1917. Enlisted Doncaster, Yorks and resident Folkingham, Lincs. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL. Panel 102 to 104.
SHARPE	George	Arras 29th May 1918 on memorial. Possibly Corporal 203687. 1st Battalion, Royal Fusiliers, formerly 5947 2nd Battalion London Regiment. Died of wounds 29th May 1918. Enlisted and resident Marylebone, Mdx. Commemorated AUBIGNY COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION. IV.H.4.

PORTER	Stanley	In memory of Stanley Porter of this parish who died of wounds in Rome 5th February 1944, aged 24 years. Guardsman 2721040. 1st Battalion, Irish Guards. Died 5th February 1944, aged 24 years. Son of Harry and Fanny Porter of Sleaford, Lincs. Commemorated ROME WAR CEMETERY. I.A.7.
