1945) to say he had been killed in action 9 February 1945. Aged
21. Son of George William (a Police Constable) and Lily Beatrice
Mary Louisa Dickinson, of Waddingham, Lincolnshire; brother of Dorothy
Margaret Bell (nee Dickisnon) known as Peggy. Educated at Brigg
Grammar School. Joined the Lincolnshire Police Cadets and went on
to the Brimingham City Police. Volunteered for the RAF 3 July 1941
in Lincoln. Buried in BRUSSELS TOWN CEMETERY, Vlaams-Brabant, Belgium.
