The memorials in in the form of a small mausoleum surrounded by railings, in the centre of Magor Square. The memorial serves the parishes of Magor and Llandevenny, Undy, Bishton, Redwick, Llandevaud and Penhow and St. Brides.

Private, 51st Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps. Died 7th July 1916. Husband of Cissie S. Attwell, of Wharf Cottage, Undy Magor, Newport, Mon. Buried at Gordon Dump Cemetery, Ovillers-la Boisselle, Somme, France.

Private, 7th Battalion, Tank Corps. Died 20th November 1918 aged 26. Son of Thomas William Berrow, of Summerleys, Magor, Mon. Buried at St. Pol British Cemetery, St. Pol-sur-Ternoise, near Arras, France.

Private 20078, 1st Battalion, Grenadier Gaurds. Killed in action 15th May 1915 at Fuesterbert, France. Aged 20. Born Mager (sic - SDGW), Newport, of West End, Magor. Son of Henry and Alice. In the 1901 census he as aged 5, born Magor, son of henry and Alice Ford, resident Magor West End, Magor, Newport, Monmouthshire. In the 1911 census he was aged 15, born Magor, son of Henry and Alice Ford, resident Lower End Magor, Magor, Monmouthshire, Wales. No known grave. Commemorated on Le Touret Memorial, Pas de Calais, France . Panel 2.

Private, 9th Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Died 12th September 1918 aged 27. Only son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hanks, of Salisbury Mill, Magor, Newport, Mon. Buried at St. Vaast Post Mitliary Cemetery, Richebourg-L'Avoue, near Bethune, France.

Private, 2nd Battalion, the Grenadier Guards. Died 25th September 1916 aged 20. Son of Aaron and Emily Walker, of Llandavenny, Magor, Newport, Mon. Buried at Abbeville Communal Cemetery Extension, France.
