Fritton is near Long Stratton, south of Norwich not to be confused with Fritton a village in Norfolk, situated about 9 kilometres south-west of Great Yarmouth. The memorial is to be found in St Catherine Church, The Street-North End, Fritton, Norfolk. It takes the form of a brass plaque showing those who died and those who served; the plaque is affixed to the interior wall.

Husband of Gertrude E Tyrrell (nee Partridge). Born c1886 Fritton, Norfolk, enlisted Mill Hill and resident Bush Hill Park, MDX. Commemorated Bucquoy Road Cemetery. VII.A.18.

Bertie Harold Watling. Private 29706. 7th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment. Killed in action 14th October 1917. Son of Thomas and Emma Watling of Fritton, Norfolk. Born 13th August 1891 Fritton and enlisted Norwich, Norfolk. Commemorated Arras Memorial. Bay 3.

Augustus Frederick Winearls. Private 6428. 15th Battalion, Machine Gun Corps (Infantry), formerly 21037 Norfolk Regiment. Killed in action 22nd October 1918. Son of Edgar and Elizabeth Winearls.
