ABTHORPE WAR MEMORIAL

World War 1 & 2 - Roll of Honour with detailed information
Copyright © 2003 - Transcribed Carolynn Langley; researched Martin Edwards

In the grounds of St. John The Baptist, Abthorpe. Very Weathered but just about readable on a Stone Cross with Plinth. In 2005 an extra plaque was added that contained the inscriptions in a readable form. Below the memorial, inset into the wall is a list of men who served and retured which is now hard to read and has not been transcribed here.
