There are two Memorials in St David’s Church. A wooden one hanging on the wall, and a marble one now resting on the floor containing only two names, JUKES and HAVARD. The two names on both died in the war but the names on the wooden Roll of Honour list the six men who served.

Private 425559, 52nd Battalion, Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment). Killed in action in France 6 December 1916. Aged 27. Born 18 June 1889 in Radnorshire. Son of John and Sarah Havard, of Rhulen, Radnorshire; sister Agnes of Aberedw, Radnorshire. Horseman by trade. Single man. Enlisted and passed fit 30 September 1915 at Carmen, Manitoba, Canada aged 26 years 3 months, height 5 feet 7 inches, girth 38¾ inches, complexion dark, eyes blue grey, hair dark brown, scar above eye 2 inches long, from ease from case of nose similar scar below same eye. Religion Church of England. Buried in MAROEUIL BRITISH CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France. PLot III. Row K. Grave 8. JUKES William Thomas

Driver 851294, "D" Battery, 241st Brigade (Territorial Force), Royal Field Artillery. Died in Italy 17 October 1918. Aged 22. Born Builth Wells, enlisted Knighton. Husband of Evelyn Jukes, of Llanelwedd Villa, Builth Wells, Breconshire. Buried in MONTECCHIO PRECALCINO COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Italy. Plot 7. Row A. Grave 1.
