HAVARD | Albert T | Private 425559, 52nd Battalion, Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment). Killed in action in France 6 December 1916. Aged 27. Born 18 June 1889 in Radnorshire. Son of John and Sarah Havard, of Rhulen, Radnorshire; sister Agnes of Aberedw, Radnorshire. Horseman by trade. Single man. Enlisted and passed fit 30 September 1915 at Carmen, Manitoba, Canada aged 26 years 3 months, height 5 feet 7 inches, girth 38¾ inches, complexion dark, eyes blue grey, hair dark brown, scar above eye 2 inches long, from ease from case of nose similar scar below same eye. Religion Church of England. Buried in MAROEUIL BRITISH CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France. PLot III. Row K. Grave 8.
