Apuldram
Small hamlet to the South of Chichester. The War Memorials for 1914-1918
& 1939-1945 are to be found at St. Mary’s Parish Church. There
are seven surnames and christian names for the first war on a small
granite cross in the churchyard. Two of the three World War 2 men are
buried close by. Only Bridger has a CWGC headstone. There is also one
burial with a CWGC headstone in the Churchyard for a Petty Officer who
died in 1920. Inside the church is a roll of honour containing the names
of 40 men who served in World War 1 and the seven names of the men who
died.
