K
Shoes/Somervell Brothers memorial (commemorates employees of K Shoes
shoe factory), standing in the grounds of the K Shoe works, near
Nether Bridge, Kendal. It takes the form of a Celtic cross made
of local green slate. Inscribed on one side only with epithet and
names of fallen.
