ST JOHN THE BAPTIST, FECKENHAM WAR MEMORIAL

The Feckenham War Memorial stands in the gorunds of the parish church of St John the Baptist, Feckenham and is in the form of a hooded calvary cross with long, octagonal, shaft mounted on a square plinth with a four stepped base, unveiled in by The Earl of Coventry February 1920; it cost £167 and was designed by The Bromsgrove Guild. It records 23 men killed in the First World War and 5 men killed in World War 2. From the monies raised to in the War Memorial fund some were used to provide electric lighting in the church and the local hall.
